Mr. David was born in Franklin, North Carolina eighty years ago. He was so tiny that his mom joked she had to tie him to the pillow so she could find him! Of course, she, herself, was only five feet tall and weighed about 95 pounds. His mom went on to have three other children, giving David two younger brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Evelyn was born and raised in Denver, Colorado with her three siblings, Joe, Leslie, and Zeita. When she met her husband, William, she traveled the world while he was in the Air Force including Japan and other countries. Together, they have five children, Larry, Bill, Denise, Rhoda and Mary Frances. She is also a grandmother to many loving grandchildren.
