Meet Mrs. Laws our resident of the month at Addington Place of Brunswick! Mrs. Laws was born in Dahlonega, Georgia February 13th, 1918, and just recently celebrated her 100th Birthday! She was raised on a farm in Lumber City, Georgia. Mrs. Laws enjoyed going to school and was involved in many activities including sports. Ms. Laws graduated as the Valedictorian of her class. Mrs. Laws enjoyed growing and tending to her rose garden and yard, as well as fishing and playing golf.
Mrs. Laws married Mr. Laws on June 17th, 1944. Together they have three children, Connie Stephenson of Savannah, Ga, John Laws and Dr. William Laws of Brunswick. She now enjoys spending time with her eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren!
Mrs. Laws enjoys life every day, and always has a positive outlook. Ask Mrs. Laws what she enjoys most, and she will say, "I enjoy meeting people and getting to know them. I never meet a stranger. These days I enjoy sitting on the porch with my friends at Addington Place. I always look forward to visits from family and friends. Life is good."
