Our August Employee Spotlight is Xak Hodges! Even though Xak has only been here for a little shy of 6 months, he truly stands out. Not only is he our first male caregiver at Oaks at Braselton, but he started off as our Oaks DJ performing for some of our parties.
Ms. Aileen, who will be turning 102 years old this week, is one of our favorite centenarians! She was born on June 9, 1916, in Cherokee County, South Carolina. Great-granddaughter of Lt. Col. Frederick Hambright, who fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain during the American Revolution. Aileen proudly shares tales of what it was like to be the second oldest of eight children, and one of six daughters to two wonderful parents. She often talks about the excitement of being raised on a cotton and vegetable farm “out in the country.”
Introducing Andrew Greeson, Director of Operations for Oaks Senior Living! Andrew joined the Oaks Family in 2009 and has served in various roles at several communities including Horizons Lifestyle Director, Community Relations Director, as well as, Executive Director. He has implemented many new programs and has successfully opened brand new communities during his tenure.
